This is the archive of the support board that ran alongside the plugin catalogue. Visitors who arrive from an old link usually want one of two things: the answer someone was given here, or a place to ask something new. The first is still possible; the second is not. The board no longer takes registrations or new topics, and the sign-in form left standing belongs to software that is no longer wired to anything.
Topics were filed under three headings — WordPress, Joomla and everything else — and the threads underneath them repeat a small number of shapes: a gallery or slider that broke after an update, a theme whose styles win over the plugin's, a shortcode that stopped rendering, a conflict with a caching layer, a licence question from someone who had bought a bundle and changed hosts.
Read old threads with two cautions. The first is version drift: an answer written for one major release of a content management system can be actively wrong for the next, because hooks get deprecated, markup changes and the front-end libraries underneath it all move on. The second is the advice, common then, to edit plugin or theme files directly; that edit disappears with the next update, so treat such a reply as a description of the cause rather than as a fix, and look for the current equivalent in a child theme or a filter.
